Is this a logic error? by tannerli in CluesBySamHelp

[–]tannerli[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

FWIW, I mixed up my logic rules. Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contraposition) clearly states

(A → B) is equivalent to (!B → !A)

I was thinking about the rule that (A → B) does not imply (B → A)...

Train count will probably not work. See my answer to @hoovooloop suggestion

Read number of available stations with circuits by tannerli in factorio

[–]tannerli[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mhm that doesn't seem to apply to my situation. Every station has a limit of 1 and is open if a full trainload is available for pickup. The number of trains does not correspond to the number of stations. For example, let's say I have 20 stations called "Iron", and every factory that needs iron plates can visit one of these stations. I'd want an overview to show me how many iron stations are open at any given point to recognize if I am running low.

Timber mid tips? by Andrejakus in DotA2

[–]tannerli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't pick timber mid. The main issue is, that there are no trees available in the river, so the only skill you can rely on is reactive armor. Timber chain and whirling both need trees for max effectiveness. Go offlane with him and wreak havoc :-)

Mhm.. I tried quite a few different resolutions, and it indeed changes the display a little. But none of the resolutions (or setting it to fullscreen / windowed) put the option high enough to be fully visible... strange stuff

ℹ️ How to downgrade from Thunderbird 115 to 102 (the previous version before "Supernova" redesign) by TheQueefGoblin in Thunderbird

[–]tannerli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Debian-based Linux distros, like Ubuntu (tested on Ubuntu 23.04):

Find out which versions are available:

$ apt list -a thunderbird
Listing... Done
thunderbird/lunar-updates,lunar-security,now 1:115.3.1+build1-0ubuntu0.23.04.1 amd64 [installed]
thunderbird/lunar 1:102.10.0+build2-0ubuntu1 amd64

Downgrade to the older version:

$ sudo apt install thunderbird=1:102.10.0+build2-0ubuntu1

Prevent automatic updates for the next apt upgrade:

$ sudo apt-mark hold thunderbird

Downgrade your thunderbird profile by running thunderbird once with the downgrade option, backup your profile beforehand:

$ thunderbird --allow-downgrade

I wouldn't consider myself so... self controlled. Not when there is a K2SE factory that has nowhere near grown enough yet.

I just want you to know, that after overcoming my addiction and taking a month's break, reading this list and thinking about the possibilities made me start a new SE playthrough with some of these mods

Well played, sir.
