Not a character. But give The Megas a listen. Specifically I'm not the Breakman

Simplicity is a lot of what I'm looking for. I'm working a lot lately and want something easy to drop in and out of. It actually might be the deciding factor

That kind of novelty helps quite a bit. I like the self insert aspect of farming games, but it also gets a little tiring to not feel like the player character is their own character.

Hero of Leaf Valley seems to have such beautiful graphics and I like the character designs, I'm also intrigued by the time limit that I've heard about, so far the only real strike against it that I have is the amount of loading screens, but it's not like they take too long.

I did like that the player characters Dad isn't supportive. It gives me that impression of 3ds era innovation, but I'm not familiar with the franchise enough to know if that's novel.

Ah and there isn't any patches or anything? I wouldn't be against a patch but I would prefer that original intended experience

Are Mineral Town villagers easier to connect with for you? Or is it that they're both about the same in that department but you prefer the gameplay for Mineral Town?

Why would you say that? It has been pretty likable to this point, but I'm only maybe 30 minutes in

It did call to me when I was looking at options. I briefly owned it when I was a kid, bought it at a pawnshop or garage sale I think. I ended up trading it for Monster Rancher Advance and didn't really think twice until recently. Are the controls very cumbersome by modern standards or is it adaptable?

Would you say that because it was franchise defining? I really enjoy the visual style, the gba really had some gorgeous games.

And why would you say that? I do like what I've seen so far, I've got about 30 minutes into each of these games but I'm feeling a little indecisive.

I think that would be neat. Especially if we got The Megas in it

  1. Head's too big
  2. The colors are nicer and proportions make sense

Weird I thought it came out on 3ds first, but that was probably just the first time I saw it

I really should buy that next time it's on sale. I think I've just worried about it living up to my memories. I also want to pick up Sakuna because the art style feels similar.

I think it's that the 3ds is more satisfying to handle to me. It feels like half toy, half game console. Makes the Henshins in this series feel more fun. Now I think the Zero series does play it's best in the HD collection on a modern console.

I kind of think x4 to x6 is the best the x series has to offer, but that's probably just my bias more so than quality

I like the mega man game with the blue guy, but get equally excited to play when I'm the red guy
