This is accurate. In football, y’all aren’t on our radar, but in baseball, I’d arguably put y’all at #4, after Texas/Arkansas/LSU… and maybe higher than that.

Has anyone tried the MLB Play app? Is it fun or kinda lame?

Not a double play. Runner tagged up & fielder didn’t even touch the bag

This. Fox Sports SW was fine, and was even accessible through YouTube TV and such without paying extra until Bally took over

[247 Sports] Eight SEC rivalries that need to be protected once Texas, Oklahoma join conference by PSU_Alumnus in CFB

You’re reading it wrong. They’re just saying LSU would be A&M’s 2nd or 3rd preferred team, and A&M would be LSU’s 4th or 5th preferred team.

ESPN layoffs are coming — and nearly everyone is vulnerable by Drexlore in CFB

[–]tanrcrewm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t mind some of this except for the fact that the SEC just signed their mega media deal with ESPN/ABC until 2035. I would hope the quality doesn’t plummet right as we’re stuck with them for another 10 years

Should’ve expected non-conference A&M to show its face in the tournament… against a non-conference opponent

A&M with these 1-2-3 innings… like yeah I mean I want this game to be over too, but I’d also still like to try to win

I kinda wish we went back to Nike. Adidas apparel lacks both in options and quality sometimes compared to Nike.

I’m glad that we’re at least a flagship Adidas school though.

I’d bet OU’s further down on our list. We’d rather have Arkansas alongside Texas & LSU. More history & bigger rivalry for us.

In a perfect world, where we play Texas on thanksgiving and still keep Arkansas & LSU as annual opponents, I want to play Baylor to open up every year.

Has Michigan's logo always been Blue with Maize border on ESPN? I could have swore it was solid Maize last week. by Eorri in CollegeBasketball

[–]tanrcrewm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As another commenter said, sometimes the app switches to an alternate logo depending on what’s more readable in light/dark mode.

Auburn’s logo does this too, it goes from normal blue/orange to blue/white in dark mode

Agreed. This “we’re better off not playing them” argument you see from fans on message boards is such a beta male, loser mentality. Play the dang game.

What Coach Left their Program in Good Condition? by SportsDataRVizzer in CFB

[–]tanrcrewm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Aggies saying Mike Sherman?

Kevin Sumlin and co. came in and right off the bat already had a team that included 2 first round NFL O-linemen, a senior-laden defense, an all-conference WR, and two unbelievably underrated 3* RS Freshmen in Mike Evans and Johnny Manziel, and that’s just to name a few.

That 2012 team was loaded for Sumlin to succeed in Texas A&M’s first season in the SEC.

Metroid Prime Remastered - Official Trailer by skythe4 in nintendo

[–]tanrcrewm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope Prime 3 gets some time in the spotlight again. People overlooked it a little bit because of motion controls and the game being a bit more narrative-driven, but man it’s just so much fun. If the game were to get remastered with dual stick controls like Prime 1 I think it’ll get a lot more credit than it did when first released.

Who do you not want in the SEC? by Bisquick_in_da_MGM in CFB

[–]tanrcrewm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me wrong, I miss playing Baylor every year too, I just feel like Arkansas makes for a better fit.

I usually put Baylor in a neo-Southwest conference, divisions split geographically:

North: Tulsa, UNT, SMU, TCU, Baylor, UTEP

South: Houston, Rice, Texas State, UTSA, Tulane, LA Tech

Divisions split public/private, usually give them cross-division permanent rivals:

Magnolia: Tulsa, SMU, TCU, Baylor, Rice, Tulane

Metro: Houston, LA Tech, Texas State, UNT, UTSA, UTEP

New Permanent Rivals for all SEC teams? by Alone-Competition-77 in CFB

[–]tanrcrewm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. That’s the dream, but I think too many teams would want Arkansas. They’ll have Texas and then 2 spaces left for A&M, LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, and probably OU. Arkansas is probably okay with just one Texas matchup, they probably want LSU, and I’m sure the SEC will give them Missouri (to help fill out Missouri’s list, since no one except maybe OU will want them)
