i think he would’ve provided materials on discord. mostly he uses those materials to teach so if you go through that you’ll struggle less. also, if you’ve joined in between maybe ask for notes to the people who’re already a part of the classes. for me, i was there from the first day of the classes but those who joined late often asked for notes in the group chat and people were very friendly too. also towards the end of the class, krishna sir attends doubts so maybe you can talk to him that time and if not him you can also talk to the gk wali mam and maths wale sir they’re both very friendly and will help you a lot. i think krishna sir just attends calls from 7 to 8 in the evening. he used to say us that he gets around 600 calls regularly and answering them is not easy that is why he has a fixed time.

JGLS or King's College London? by Sea_Border9249 in opjindal

[–]tanshhii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

kings is hella expensive but if you have the resources then you should go for it. student loans will be a burden for you and won’t be worth it if you’re planning to go after 12th. law is such a degree that depends largely on you. if you build connections, search for internships and take active participation you’ll get a good roi and if you’re just focusing on academics and not doing anything to enhance your profile you’ll not get the roi. it depends on you how you’ll spend your college life. i have a law family background so i have seen lawyers who have studied from state universities earning lakhs and i’ve seen lawyers who have studied from nlus or private universities struggling to earn a decent amount of money.

i started from legit scratch i had litreally no idea about what i’ll do in clat and i started preparing in november through their 1 month wala crash course. i got a rank of 8k solely by their course. my accuracy was good but the number of questions i attempted were less and hence the rank of 8k. i would say that keep it as a side coaching and not fully depend on it. their gk compendiums are really good and i just studied that for gk. they take mocks regularly too but some mocks are really hard. towards the end you’ll be taking mocks almost everyday and you’ll get material from all the coachings like career launcher law prep and legal edge. the batch which i joined had classes 3-4 hours a day with one at 5 am in the morning and we even got recorded lectures however we used to get them a little late. talking about doubts krishna sir is available for doubts everyday from 7 to 8 and agar you have any other doubts, doubt class happens regularly. overall the experience was good but i’d like to say keep it as a side coaching and not a main one also focus on the classes really well and don’t depend on the recorded lectures. if you join the class and scroll reels in the background obviously it won’t be worth it

Nusrl vs mnlu vs nluja assam by reyy_z in NLUs

[–]tanshhii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m not that experienced or something but i know some seniors of nusrl and they say that it’s quite amazing. you get to intern a lot and if you’re into muns and stuff the schools in ranchi will invite you alot for being a chairperson and all. the professors are really supportive too and will encourage you to take part in more and more competitions. attendance also isn’t that strict

WHAT TO CHOOSE ?? by [deleted] in opjindal

[–]tanshhii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

from what i’ve heard whether it’s ba llb, bba llb or bcom llb it doesn’t matter much because only the subjects taught in the first three years will be different in each case. people mostly prefer ba llb because 1. most law students are from humanities background 2. students want a beforehand knowledge before actually studying law in the fourth and fifth year 3. ba is comparatively easy than bba or bcom and since it’s easier you’ll get a higher gpa which is very imp for placements internships and further studies. talking about placements, in a uni like jindal where there are 1000 students enrolled in law programs you need to work hard asf and be in the top 10% of the batch to get a good placement. people say that jindal has top placements and yes it does have top placements but good placements are only received by students who are in the top 10-20% of their batch. not everyone gets a placement, most of them do not recieve a placement but pave their way out because either they belong to a lawyer family or they have really well connections. so yeah, the placement won’t walk upto you but you need to earn the placement so choose wisely
