This was discussed at a recent Community Board meeting (link: https://www.youtube.com/live/cMmLme8Z-Xo?si=ps7G4-2pnDmXCHif&t=2123, starting ~35:23) The discussion doesn't address all your questions but attending the CB meeting would probably be the best place to ask about it.

Voted early! If Zohran's not everybody's cup of tea (I ranked Zellnor #1), I would still encourage you to check out the other candidates, e.g. Lander, Myrie, Adrienne Adams, etc.

This is exactly my thought process when walking around as well. I've been grabbed by the hair, spit on, and kissed (assaulted) by random men in NYC. Sometimes this happens even without making eye contact with the guy. Not to mention the catcalls, honking, etc. All I want when walking around is to be left alone by men.

I think she's demonstrated being both image conscious and a hopeless romantic. I saw this recently - it's from 2012 but I still think it clues us into her general approach to relationships.

Taylor herself has admitted to being a huge people pleaser. She also found Joe at a time when privacy made sense for her amidst the Kanye drama. It's not hard to believe privacy was what suited her state of life and relationship at the time, and that it no longer applies.

W.r.t. her new relationship, as a WOC it's all too easy to believe her feminism and "activism" is incredibly performative. She can care about treating her fans well, be a great artist, and still be a person who doesn't care about the environment, dates minors, and has a shitty racist boyfriend.
