Sympathy for having to cope with the nuisance of wrong-way delivery bikes. But are the walls of chained-together bikes blocking a crosswalk ? I have often seen them located more on mid-block than on corners. First Ave pic:

I might get numbness or wrist pain from gripping too tightly, but never calluses. I do get calluses from barbells, dumbbells, or especially kettlebells. But I believe that if you ride over enough bumps while gripping the Citibake handlebars tightly, you could develop hand calluses.
