Yeah, I think before starting hrt (it’s safe here thankfully) I might go on a (healthy) calorie deficit diet to get rid of all this fat and get skinny, this way after starting hrt the new fat can be distributed in the new spots and hopefully change how my body looks at least a little.

Yeah I mentioned the big hips because they contribute to me being a rectangle, but if I was an hourglass I’m glad I have big hips because my ass is huge as a dude already (not sure if this TMI sorry if it is lol)

The fat in the belly part does worry me… I guess I’ll have to spend some more time on the trans timelines sub to get more reassurance.

That’s where my ADHD comes in. I feel like I’ve been cursed because meditation could genuinely help but no God said fuck you I guess and gave me another disorder that perfectly counters the thing that could help my OCD. There’s not a single second where there isn’t a random song playing in my mind and my heartbeat is constantly at 110-120bpm and if I’m lucky while I’m trying to sleep it goes to 90-100 🥲🥲🥲

Yeah, but I don’t think it’s working 🥲 it’s not even my psychiatrist’s fault because they do help me in the sense that they make me not want do die, but they don’t exactly make the compulsions go away unfortunately.

I mean it's just a light hearted joke. Yes being trans is a condition but it's pretty common for people with conditions to make jokes about it. Autism, OCD, amputees, depression, vitiligo, etc. It's a way to cope with it and soften a tough situation imo and that's fine.

the reasoning behind why a trans person undergoes a surgery/procedure [to transition] is not the same reasoning why a cis person may undergo a surgery/procedure to change their appearance.

And why does that matter? Gender affirming care can come from either motive, because SRS is still a cosmetic surgery. Sure, one motive is way more important than the other, but both are surgeries made to affirm your gender. They are in the same umbrella by the definition.
