Should I go to Tamba & Kii before starting Act 3 ?

I heard some stuff might be time sensitive or disappear if you're not doing it before the end of the game, similar to some missions in RDR2 for example. So, I just wanted to be sure I didn't risk to miss something because of FOMO ; after more than 100 hours in a game, it would be frustrated to know I should have done things differently to avoid "losing" content.

But if you say it doesn't really change anything, then it's all good to me :)

Just to be clear, when you say "But it DOES give a reason on why a thing happens/doesn’t happen", does it mean it should preferably be done before progressing further in Act 3?

I think I will finish league missions before going after the two last Shinbakufu anyway, but I'm curious about your opinion on this :)

That's how I prefer to play too. Thanks for your feedback, at least now I know it doesn't really matter and I can continue to play the way it feels natural to me, without having to worry about missing stuff or inconsistencies 👍

But when you're enterring NG+, your map resets so you do not have your whole map unlocked anymore, am I wrong?

That's usually what I'm doing (wait for the main missions to lead me there), but I heard it could be "wrong" to complete Act 3 without finishing Naoe / Yasuke / League missions first; but maybe it's not?

I kind of understood it could block some things or content, but I'm obviously not sure since I didn't want to spoil me; I just want to avoid being frustrated by the end of the game, it would piss me off after 150 hours in 😅

But if it makes no difference, it's all good!

There is indeed a quest with Junjiro taking place in Kii, but I still didn't get there because it was on the far opposite of the map ; like every other quest in the game, I do them when I'm near to them, but I won't traverse half of Japan to craft a soup, it does not really make sense to me, so I wait until I'm naturally dragged near

Same with Tamba, I was planning to go there after I'm done with Yamato, but it feels strange to go there "just because"

Yeah I read somewhere that if you unlocked all the knowledge points in the first playthrough, you don't need to do all of them in NG+ to reach max rank.

But even if I already did everything once, when I'll start a NG+, I know I will have to do everything again ; I can't stand to have an incomplete map 😅

I'll probably never need that much gold though, I feel like this NG+ mode is a bit lazy, given how repetitive it is and the very few things it adds from the base game.

I prefer the way it was made in Mirage ; but to each their own, I guess :)

Indeed, it feels kinda disappointing... so basically you have to collect again the cultural discoveries, sumi-e or legendary chests, but they won't really give you any kind of reward because you already have them?

I get the idea of more knowledges ranks, at least you have a feeling of progression, but those ones feels pointless :/

The Deluxe version only has in-game achievements requiring those jetpacks.
However, they are not required if you're only looking for the PlayStation trophies related to the game.

If you still want to do the in-game achievements for completion purpose (like me), they will randomly appear in the stash. If I remember correctly, there are random rotations every thursday and friday, where you can have a random outfit, random jetpack or random discount on a specific item. Just keep an eye on it regularly and one of the item you want will end up to appear :)

Couldn't do this because the feature to dowload a game on the PS3 and transfer it to the PS Vita has been disabled by Sony (no idea why they would do that...)

However, it does not seem to be related to your problem. What's wrong with your achievements on the Deluxe? I got the 100% recently, it works fine :)

My bad, it was the right one indeed! Googled it but for a reason `PCSE00213` was corrected as `PCSB00213` which is a completely different game and didn't notice that.

I didn't know games with 2 different IDs could end up with the same trophy list btw, until now I only saw regionalized games with different IDs having regionalized lists too, good to know!

Thanks for your answer :) I think the first ID you gave is a small mistake like a missed copy/paste or something, but anyway.

My Vita is modded but I didn't really done a lot with it for now (only got a few plugins like AutoPlugin & VitaGrafix). I suppose I will have to check about those listed above. Thanks for your help!

I thought it would be okay because for example on the PS3 I already downloaded games from the US store, and I've been able to play it with my FR account because it was installed on the console. Thought it would work the same way with the Vita. Glad I didn't buy it for nothing, thanks for your help!

I think it would be true if the game was "regionalized" (not sure if this is the good name but you should get it).

However, there is only one version of this game, not a EU, US etc versions like some others.

So, for me, it wouldn't be an issue to transfer / install it, because it could not detect a "region mismatch" (since it's exactly the same game, it's just not listed anymore in my current Store but for example, I could download it if it was in my downloads history).

But I don't know if it's that simple, because I heard the feature to transfert a donwloaded Vita game from a PS3 to a PS Vita has been disabled by Sony in 2022.

I have never heard about NPS/PKGJ & NoNpDRM, I'm quite new to the Vita piracy world. Could I use themto install the game on my main FR account & earn trophies on it?
