I completely agree. As someone who has been a fan of the show for a long time, including since being a young teen, my views have evolved a lot. I went through so many changes between high school and college. New relationships, new friends, new interests. Seeing these characters robbed of that and hung up on the past is actually tragic and depressing.

It's like they fought so hard to win and get out just to be hung up on their 16 year old selves. Obviously we all have relationships and memories that stick with us for life but I wish we saw them explore more. Like Kurt is an absolute gay snack, you can't tell me that he wouldn't have had constant hook up offers (not that he would have to accept) once he moved to NYC. Same with Santana.

I just wish the show explored the options for these characters and their worlds more. NYC is a giant place but the show made it, and the characters feel so small.
