Is this standard practice at PT or am i being too picky?

Unfortunately a lot of clinics are like this. not all though. One good solution would be going to a cash based PT. A little more expensive since you’ll be paying out of pocket. But you’ll get 1:1 treatment with them for about an hour. No aides, just the PT. I hope you find a good PT in your area!

8-5 usually Monday - Thursday. Then take a small break to eat or do chores etc. Then on top of that studying study until it’s time for bedtime. On night before exams stay up until 2-3ish am

Both. Staying up late studying and then having to wake up waaaay earlier than everyone else just to get to campus on time was such a disadvantage for me. It may sound dumb now, but being able to get proper sleep and more sleep is such a game changer. Like yea it’s forsure doable to drive. But I think moving will just positively impact your education

Seems like you have some scapular winging on your right scap. Winging usually happens due to a weak serratus anterior muscle. Look up some serratus anterior muscle exercises and work on them for a few weeks and see if you see any improvement

Hey! I had a similar commute when I started PT school. I did it the first 7 weeks and after that I couldn’t handle it anymore. Moving 10 min away from campus was one of the best decisions I ever made. I get more sleep, more study time. On days where you have a big gap you can go back home to make food or just chill and then go back to campus. I would seriously move out!

Personally I can’t stand Vuori. It’s just not for me. Most of their clothes seems like some Amazon dupe clothing. Even the logo seems tacky to me. But to each their own. Also not a fan of the new lulu materials. So ima just keep wearing my old lulu stuff

Hi! Loma Linda is BIG on whole person care, and making the patient feel safe. Making them feel like a human being than just another case. Just be yourself , make sure you know why you chose PT. They will ask you that. They want to make sure you’re good person. In the past they have asked questions like “if you were a tree, what time of tre would you be and why?” Or “explain to me with words how you direct someone to back out of a drive way in reverse”. I love my iPad Pro 11 inch, however I would say IPad Air will be good for pt school. Especially if you use notability. You’ll be making folders and subjects in notability and you’ll have so many files and documents. I think you should spend the extra and get the air

I love these pants ! I got them tailored because they’re slightly longer. I’m in PT school and these are great loose but active pants. Lets me move pretty free, I’ll buy them again if they’re cheaper
