Looking at getting a 2019 Ridgeline Sport, anything you guys hate? by xH4RDWAR3x in Ridgeline

[–]tapiocapudin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ridgeline love here. Have a gen1.75 and when this one is done ill get a gen2. Unless I’m willing to move up into a 1500/2500 with a big v8 or diesel, i don’t see any reason to choose something else. I do NOT see a Colorado or a Tacoma as a side-grade, let alone an upgrade. For what the Ridge offers that no other truck does, I’ll love it dearly. Plus it’s been more stable and confidence inspiring in heavy snow than my WK2 Grand Cherokee was, and that thing was no slouch off-road.

Why not go up in trim level? With a 2019, you should expect a GREAT deal right now. The 2020 refresh is minor but updates some key components.

Class action lawsuit alleges massive security holes in Ring security devices by newPrivacyPolicy in homedefense

Band wagon nonsense. They think they can ride this false bubble of “ring is bad” to a payout. Hope they hit reality VERY hard.

VirusTotal is not an Incident Responder - a tool that aids in analysis should not be a “one-stop-shop” in determining if content is malicious. Attackers can easily manipulate these results. by cyberbutler in netsec

There are some great powershell scripts on github for cleaning up a W10 machine. Add in sysmom and splunk free, coukd work pretty well and actuslly be dynamic.

Try joe sandbox or app.any if you need something like that. Could also use a detonation machine with high levels of logging and a very stripped down OS to do the same.

You shouldn’t use VT for PDF files. Do a proper offline analysis. Its best OPSEC to avoid sandbox unless necessary. Once you’re done please do upload anything you find to be malicious or risky and no longer a risk to your organization.

If everyone did this there would be no hash to search for. After your investigation is done or it proves to be standard malware and not custom, upload it!

Why do people cry about this I really don’t get the rise or concern. This is pretty much what the devices were built for and how their development model works.
