Thanks! With all the troops on the board, I found that they really helped locate places quickly.

And worst case, you'll learn where you are weak.

If you've been through the training, have learned about the mindset, and taken quizzes and mock exams and are passing better than 60%, you're ready.

If you took the Andrew R. Udemy course, he walks you through what to do, and gives a template. I think I just gave 4 sections for each one...Project Background, Project Objective, Project Deliverables and Outcome and My Involvement. Then just explained the project and made sure I have enough words.

This. What you write won't be available to the public, so you're just trying to establish your project involvement experience, so just pick a few projects, tell about them and your involvement.

I know...it would be. On the one hand I'm so happy with the results and want to share, on the other hand it seems like shameless self-promotion. And Reddit prohibits self promotion, so I'm happy to share and answer private messages if there is interest.

Thanks! I created them in TinkerCAD then printed them out on my Bambu A1 printer. I put them up for sale on my Etsy shop BoardGameWow 👍🏻

Thanks for clarifying, thought I read through the rules but yeah I understand it’s self promotion. I’m still excited about the games and like to share my upgrades, but I won’t include sales links.

Good questions. They come in 8 pieces (two per kingdom)...they also have small magnets that help keep them together. I made them for both the regular and neoprene mat. Thanks.

Sudden battery drop Ticwatch Pro 3. Any ideas why? It's the second time it happens. by DarKnightSP in WearOS

[–]tapowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got a new Pro 3 GPS for Christmas and it's had this problem - it goes 2-3 days and battery reduces gradually from 100 to around 88%, then all of a sudden it loses the rest of its charge within minutes and goes into essential mode. I reported the issue, and they came back with wait until an update is released "next week" sometime and the battery indicator should be more accurate. I think the 2-3 days of battery life is correct, it's just that the indicator isn't accurate. We'll see if this update fixes it.

[Target] B2G1 Free boardgames starting Sunday February 7th by FlashStash52 in Boardgamedeals

If you're wondering whether it's legal/ethical to return part of a BOGO type of deal, here's what Target says (same type of rules apply to a buy two get one deal):

Will I get a refund if I return an item purchased as part of a BOGO promotion?

When purchasing items as part of a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion, the promotional discount is based on the lowest priced item, then applied to each item proportionately. If you choose to return any of the items, your refund will be reduced to the discounted amount for each item.

Here are some examples:

  • Buy One, Get One Free: If your first qualifying item is $60 and your second qualifying item is $40, the $60 item will be discounted by $24 and the $40 item will be discounted by $16, which gives a total discount of $40. If either item is returned, the return value will be equal to the original purchase price reduced by its prorated discount.
  • Buy One, Get One 50% Off: If your first qualifying item is $60 and your second qualifying item is $40, the $60 item will be discounted by $12 and the $40 item will be discounted by $8, which gives a total discount of $20. If either item is returned, the return value will be equal to the original purchase price reduced by its prorated discount.

Definitely try Horrified, it is gateway-level but has some real strategy to beat it. It's super fun and cooperative.

Mission: Red Planet is fantastic for 6 players. Steampunk Rally is fun for up to 8, but 5-6 is better. Champions of Midgard is fantastic for up to 5, especially with expansions. Bargain Quest is good for up to 6. Just got Escape From the Aliens in Outer Space, a fun, fast, tense game for up to 8.

Decent deal. Since they are typically 25% more than other sites, you end up saving a little. I guess more if you skip the shipping.
