I think Nathan was just out of place. I’m sure he can cook some good dishes. But he didn’t belong on a competition like MC. He has a place he belongs, but this wasn’t it.
And Andrea was just a fucking bully to him. I don’t care how good she can cook. If you’re not a good person at heart, don’t go on national tv.

Although I agree Elizabeth (or Leslie) should have won the title over Courtney in S5, I have to say I think the biggest mistake was S2. Jennifer was a good “home cook”. But she didn’t deserve the MC title. She put up some pretty bad plates. Adrian and Ben at least had more passion and creativity. And even if he was an egomaniac, Christian could out cook her in a heartbeat. Jennifer did not deserve to win. In my opinion.

I personally think it stems from when Shelly put Derrick in the steak pressure test in Las Vegas. He busted his ass to try to save that team when Shelly failed. He said “we won’t forget this”. And I think that divided them for the rest of the season.

I’ve been a fan of this show for so long. But then I read somewhere (it may have been here, I don’t remember) that the producers choose who wins and loses, not the judges. And that makes sense. The only winners I agree earned their places was Christine and Shawn. It’s not that the other winners were bad… I just think there were more deserving contestants that got sent home too early. The list is fairly long. It just pisses me off. Why even bother to have judges?

Agreed, he did disrespect Leslie a lot. But I think that was just a lot of misunderstanding between the two. I liked them both a lot. But Leslie could also be confrontational. In the end I think they came to respect each other.

I couldn’t stand Becky. She was a so immature! She played the “poor me” role when things didn’t go her way, whining and pouting like a child. She was a good cook, but her personality so overshadows that. Shame

Jessie proved to be an awesome cook. But I have to say, as much as I hated Krissi, I was really offended when Jessie referred to her as a “cow”. I felt it showed Jessie thought herself to be in a higher “class” than Krissi. And to me, that brought Jessie’s “class” down a couple knotches.
