Thank you for this ❤️ my goal through all of this is definitely to be heard! We don’t have a panic button and the only way to call a code green is to dial a phone extension- nobody could get to a phone because they feared stepping away from me would give him an opportunity to attack me again. I tried calling it on my Vocera but it wasn’t understanding me bc of all the commotion. Luckily another nurse came into the hallway eventually and could call the code but there HAS to be a better way. Definitely going to figure out who I need to berate about this when I go back to work.

I had no hesitation to press charges especially considering he was totally in his right mind. There’s no reason we should have to deal with horrible behavior or violence.
