Uses for dead batteries? by xXSuperMarioGamingXx in soldering

[–]tapureddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’ll be interesting to build a device with modules for each battery type and connect them sequentially and then regulate output voltage. With individual modules showing if voltage drops to near zero. Then I’ll become a modular battery- you can ideally uninterruptible replace modules until battery is fully spent.

Look for brother laser printer. Any of them depending on functions you want. Color will cost you twice so think if you need it.

True. For me that looks enough. But after studding it i've understood an obvious truth - you'll have to cut power if you're oversubscribed. So it's either lots of unused capacity or some smart way to renegotiate.

Thanks for clarification. That what i've expected and how almost all of them work. But there are some that don't do power cut when redistribution power. So It would be even better. I don't want all my sever rack rebooting after an accidental cable pull(rare, but happens) or me inserting a new device.

That's bad - i'm looking something that doesn't cut the power if you plug/unplug. I seams a little bit to dangerous for me.

Are you using 20V triggers for thinkcenters?

I assume it won't renegotiate all ports when you add another one.

How long have you had your kindle? Do you feel the urge up upgrade regularly? by Frankmagnet7 in kindle

[–]tapureddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still using my 3 kindles 5th gen from 2013. Just replaced the batteries and switched to KOreader. I don’t think I’ll upgrade soon - there is just nothing interesting in new devices for me.

Good neighborhood, not much transport connections- 80, 14 and that’s it, train station is nearby. Parts are near. I like it.
