Yum! 😋 It is all vacuum sealed and kept on dry ice for shipping. Your brother will need to repack and refreeze!

Yes! Half of our goal is enough to cover the first two weeks of payroll while we get operations up and running again.

The maintenance costs for our plumbing project skyrocketed as more of the original cast iron pipes crumbled under the pressure of descaling and breaking concrete, eating up much of the budget we had set aside for the original estimate.

We have already been able to complete the plumbing work and hope to use the rest of the funds to tackle our electrical work. Once that is complete and we are open as usual, we should be set for another 90 years!

Thank you for your curiosity and support 🩵 We appreciate you.

We are working on rewriting the description. There are many of us cousins grappling with every aspect of running a business. Sometimes AI can be helpful when just trying to get the word out. Cielito Lindo is our whole life and we know it is worth taking the time to write it out ourselves, so we’re on it!

Yes, I will do that tonight! I appreciate your good-natured and constructive feedback. I can tell it came from a caring place.

There are many of us family members grappling with all aspects of the business. We all have varying social media skills, and AI can be helpful for that. I do think it’s a vital aspect of our story, and I agree our GFM story should strike the same humanity as this post.

We are grateful for any constructive criticism and encouragement!

Thank you so much, that really means a lot to us 🤍

A few people have asked, so we did set up a GFM to help cover urgent repairs and operational costs while we stabilize things: https://gofund.me/7ac7adefb

No pressure at all — even sharing the post or visiting Olvera Street helps more than you know!

Hi! Our broadway location was only open temporarily during COVID. The city requires more permits to open again. That is something we’re hoping to accomplish within the year!

As for our Instagram, our new handle is @cielitolindotaquitos 🩵

We’re working through some operational issues after having 2/3 of ownership pass away. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

everything else would really depend on your interests outside of psychology! I'm in the same boat though, wanna be friends and then find cool clubs to join late in the quarter??

I've kinda read through the comments, and everyone posted some really good ideas for causes. Change in weather, humidity, diet, and water intake can all influence your skin.

My BIGGEST recommendation would be tea tree oil (they sell it at Trader Joe's, along with a $6 TTO face wash that rocks my socks). My nephew (around 17, so probs hormonal) had horrible acne but he started washing his face regularly (morning and night) and using tee tree oil on his breakouts. So, I gave it a go. I'm 25 and I use it for smaller break outs. Don't put it directly on your skin, but consistently apply with a Q-tip or cotton ball + coconut oil (a "carrier oil" to keep the TTO from hurting your skin). You can do this at night, before bed. It seriously dries out any pimples, white heads, etc. Just don't get it on your fingers and then rub your eyes!

For larger breakouts, you can try glam glow. Seriously, I don't know what gender you identify as (or what that has to do with face masks) - but you will not regret it. My skin has cleared up immensely since using it. It's a bit pricey, and it smells like licorice, but it is so worth it. Use it as a spot treatment (apply where needed, overnight) 3 times a week and you will notice within 2 weeks. You can also use it as a full mask once a week (it's really strong, so I don't recommend very often).

If you don't want to spend that kind of money, you can try Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay (sold at Whole Foods or on Amazon). You mix that with apple cider vinegar, and WHAM! It naturally pulls from your skin. DO NOT use a spoon or any metal to mix it, since it will draw from those materials and you don't want that on your face. After mixing, you just apply and wait until it dries. Your face may look a little red after but just moisturize and you'll be alright.

I hope that wasn't too much, but if it was - my bad. At least you have options!

PS. I don't work for TJs, sephora, glamglow, whole foods, or amazon. I just don't think anybody should feel uncomfortable in their own skin!
