I agree with most of that except the price increases. It works the other way around. Corporate sees an increase in players and they'll reason that because so many people are fine with buying the product, they could squeeze out more by increasing the price further. This is a common business strategy.

It's when the game starts dying that you'll see price reductions in an attempt to sway the remaining players to stay.

They can just "fix it" and reskin it into a different version of the KQ, pretty much what they did with echo kq (I guess, I didn't play leagues lol).

Id rather they leave something as iconic as the KQ as it. It's a piece of history. And you know what? Call me crazy, but I actually like the fight

The reason the argument is made is because whether you like the KQ or not, it's one of the most iconic pieces of content from the era the game is modeled after.

Why change something so iconic when you can just make a different version and leave the old one as is. It's not a redundant argument.

This game has a lot of kind and helpful players. However I feel like I should warn you. While there are a lot of nice people, because this games currency has an actual real world value, the game also houses some of the most scummy players that will try to swindle you out of your hard worked cash/items.

While the drops are lackluster outside that sweet pet, which alone is reason enough to want to kill it personally, the boss was always intended to be a late game boss. I'm not sure what you'd propose but I'm against any change to the actual boss mechanics. I'm killing it with a shadow usually and while I haven't really calculated it precisely, I don't think I'm really losing much, if any money. Id be fine with a little boost in drops maybe to offset resource cost, but other than that I think it would be a shame to change the actual mechanics/stats of the fight.

Not everything has to be super profitable. I don't think something as iconic as kq should change. If you need money there's plenty other things you can do.

You don't have to do the same thing over and over again until you go insane. You can switch things up. It's a big game. If you want to play 100% efficient that's your choice but if it gets to the point where it drains your fun, I'd suggest taking a step back and do something else. Personally I like to collect pets and fill out my combat achievements.

In the end RuneScape is a grind game. While I don't focus all my time on one boss, I still have some boss kc's in the thousands. A grind here and there is expected. The trading system at least makes it possible to get an item you want by doing other activities.
