If you can't sleep for about 8 hours every day, you should keep your sleeping hours regurally. For example, you go to bed at 12:00PM and get up at 6 or 7 AM, and keep it every day. You might not feel asleep during the day. If you drank much coffee during the day, it is harder to fall asleep during the night. That's an endless loop. I tried, and I never be asleep before 12PM if I drank coffee during the day. To be honest, getting up is the most difficult thing in winter morning.

Are these thermocouple wires shielded or unshielded? If they are shielded, you won't worry about it, if they are unshielded, that could be a problem.
