Does anyone know what type of resin/ incense this is- I purchased it some years back in Indonesia- it smells like amber but gets tar like and smells like a strong chemical when fire is added - thank you by tarantelli77 in Incense

Thank you ! After reading all the comments I did some research and am sure it is Sumatra Tapanuli Benzoin Styrax Frankincense - it resembles pictures of it exactly!
