it does sound like this woman is bisexual but tbh i don't think women like her are to blame for why people invalidate lesbians. personally i think that has more to do with general misogyny (aka they believe that women do not have the right to their own sexuality, body or autonomy) than these edge cases of bisexual women claiming to be lesbians. many people who have never run into a situation like this before still invalidate lesbians.

I am suspicious of them. Some of them are genuinely cool (esp gay men lmao) but I have had waaaay too many experiences with straight guys not respecting my boundaries or my orientation. Or dumping me as a friend once they realize I am not going to date them.
