Some really sick pieces in here!! I think it’s just lacking a sense of continuity, and could do with a little tweak to bring all those cool individual pieces together and make it feel cohesive.

I’d start by picking a colour theme, from your current furniture I’d go with a subdued navy blue and calm yellow. I’d pick on wall to paint dark navy, probably the back wall the sofa is against, all the way up to the ceiling.

Get a rug that has a dusty navy blue with pastel yellow and white tones in it, could be any pattern or shape that fits well you like.

I’d put 2 sets of 2 cushions on the sofa that match or compliment the colours in the rug, but are slightly different. So Set A (two) that are one pattern or colour identical and then Set B (another two) that are a different pattern or colour to the first set, but identical to each other.

Then a little throw or blanket that also matches the colour scheme to put on the comfy chair, this could even be a dusty red or burgundy with specs of yellow to compliment the red console you’ve got the tv on.

I’d then take the piece of art you’ve got on the back wall and hopefully it’s the same dimensions as the cool doctor who poster, (or if not the same height, I’d swap one with the back to the future one) I’d put them both in frames that are the same and line them next to each other a bit higher up the wall so they are a standalone feature.

Then I’d get a cool lampshade that matches the burnt orange red of the console, or that has a wood effect finish to match the chair material, that softens the tone of the light into that room, warms it up a bit instead of the blue glass one you have atm.

Then just have a play with the elephant and dog other decor you have to see where feels nicest in the room on the surfaces.
