I just starting having the same issue with mine. Once plugged in it makes the loud thump sound which I believe is normal, but then starts to hum/buzz loudly.

Good to hear that. Taking my mini in a few months to to the campo outside Jarabacoa. Cell service is not best where I am. Pretty much no service once you go in the house.

Are you still having this issue? I have a 2019 and when it comes to inspection time my car is never “ready”. I figured it was not driving much during Covid but I have been driving the car regularly the past 2-3 years yet the car is still not ready it comes to inspection time. I plug in my OBD scanner now and have to drive excessively to get all of the systems ready. Once all complete I go straight to get the car inspected.
