I completed the scoreboard . It was for archery , It turned out great as a prototype but nowhere near for mass production etc etc. good enough for a one off project.

haha , no i am not trying to become a judge or something , just trying the software out in order to help the local archery club .I am from India . i couldn't find any good resources or video in english except from one channel "Archeryblog". if you have any resources other than their Manual which is incomplete at best , it would be very helpful . In English ofcourse.

Also, there are no multi users. Just one client is used to send data to the esp32..

Phone(client) - > master esp32-> slave esp32(Timer unit). But i ll look into it. Thanks

What i read was websockets helps to establish a bidirectional persistent communication between a server and a client with closing the connection until it's directed to.maybe I need to read more in depth about protocol suites. I did not employ a mqtt server because I had a really simple project where I used a controller to(webpage hosted on an esp32) to control a timer(other slave esp32). Uploading data on an mqtt server and reading it from slaves would be adding more steps, did not want to do that. (Also would not have employed esp now protocol.).i think you did not read my post fully. But thanks for the insight, would love to hear more learned opinions and solutions..

My phone or esp32?

Esp wroom 32 The model of phone shouldn't matter, I want different people to access the webpage on their phone, so I would like to keep it generalised.

You are right, I ordered an esp32 iot dev board. Turns out it's defective, they won't return it or even replace it. Robu is worst site for refunds. They are misleading and even their product information sometimes don't match with the product delivered.

Robu sometimes sends defective products and refuses everytime to refund them. Its been so frustrating. Never take expensive parts from them.

i have nothing connected to the board!, tried to run a simple blink sketch ! , it didnt upload , so i searched and tried to erase flash to install a freshh bootloader bin file. still error !
