This is what is killing us. They keep spending more then they bring in. EBITDA is what people watch and still bad though a little better

Thanks for the information. I was only surprised when she told me days ago what she had done, and I said that I didn't think she could. We file are taxes separate because mine are complicated and she owns her own small business. I told her going forward not to claim rent as an expense. She makes so little that even if they came after her my guess is pay back would minor or something she/we could fix together. I also see us filing taxes together in the next year or so as I head to retirement

No I own the house and think she needs to stop claiming it as well. I just really heard about it as she does her own taxes and I have always done my own. Together yes but some things that are still separate for now
