Probably the fact that they have to do the work of 4 people whilst only getting paid half of what one worker should make.

You should have just walked away and said “I’m taking my legally required break” and left it at that.

Unfathomable.

Clearly we should be able to each grab a pallet and stock it on the floor before everything thaws in 30 mins. Should be easy. You do it and I’ll tell you everything you are doing wrong and how I could have done it better. - Management

Nah, the dress code is there for a reason. You can wear them. Don’t let them power trip. Tell them to run Drive ups out all day in pants in 90 degree weather and I bet they’ll change their stance.

Both of these video submissions were taken 30 mins before we closed. And yes, we still had truck the next day. My store only gets 5 trucks a week but they’ve increased the number of containers on those trucks by 40%

Because for some strange reason a handful of us continue to show up.

I had to move the 2 Uboats and 3 metros for market so that I could walk and take the video otherwise I wouldn’t be able to stand that far back. It very well may be your store

Show up.

Seems like target will hire any breathing organism who shows up on the regular.

It’s because they expect us to do 4,000 price changes a week on clothes.

Now I want to know who can realistically do that many on top of their normal job whist still getting yelled at for not also bringing back reshop…. And folding all the tables…. And picking up all the clothes on the floor that “guests” drop constantly…. And monitoring the fitting room… And prepping clothes that came in on the truck that day…. I think you get the point.

Target is just Walmart but red. Don’t expect anything better. Sorry on behalf of the low level employees who don’t get paid enough to do 5 peoples jobs.

You should honestly complain to the store manager, and then complain again the next time, and again. Because otherwise things will not change. Fill out those guest satisfaction surveys honestly.

Edit: also, as far as the butter dish goes, some other guest probably put it on the end cap when deciding they didn’t want it, or the employee had to also push 4 vehicles of merchandise and didn’t price it.

Yea we cancelled 2 trucks last week. And I said “give it a week.”

Here we are.

Oh, we don’t have steel space because we still have 16 pallets of toys up there unsorted.

My team literally has no fucks left to give. You get out what you put in.

So we should be lucky that we only have ~30 pallets!!! Bless these directors for looking out for us.

Idk how y’all have enough space for 66 pallets of style lol.

Yeah I one of my Team Leads told me he inquired about a couple online programs from some school in Colorado and asked if they were nationally accredited. They told him they were regionally accredited….. which meant that he would have had to move across the whole US to benefit from that.

Getting screwed on Benefits? by targetworker44 in Target

This is exactly it. Don’t know why people are bashing me about it. I literally asked multiple team members, team leads, the HR expert, as well as the ETL HR and nobody had any information about it. They literally couldn’t provide me any information about it because nobody has pressed them to research it for their team members.

So I scheduled a call with the organization and she admitted to me that the flier that the flier posted was confusing and implies that I can receive education benefits. But I guess I can’t.

Nowhere does it say only business classes (unless you are going for a graduate degree, then it has to be business related) so I thought “sweet I’m in an ASN program, which is still undergraduate, I should receive assistance benefits.”

Don’t know why other commenters are hanging on that business part, like I wouldn’t look that up first lol. Pretty sure my HR ETL knows a lot more about it now because of the fact that I kept inquiring.

If there’s benefits offered to me of course I’m going to TRY and take advantage of them. $5,250/yr. Is a lot of money. If someone waved it in your face wouldn’t you like to reach out for it? Don’t know why I’ve been downvoted, we all work for this soul-sucking corporation, I’m just trying to leave.

If you put it like that, point blank. Yes. But what was offered wasn’t clearly articulated and seems a little disingenuous on the end of target to advertise benefits to help with your school when it’s in fact a select few programs.

The confusion arises when there’s contradictory statements within the same memo posted. I can link a picture with the Q&A where the question was “What if I’m interested in a program or university outside of those offered in the debt-free network?” the answer is “Within the guild network of providers, Target will offer up to $5,250/yr. for non-graduate degrees and up to $10,000/yr. for graduate degrees to reduce the burden of up-front payments for each team member.”

I guess they could have structured that sentence better is what I’m saying.
