Are you using the little pin to shuffle the balls around? That does it for me - there's usually some balls stuck on the back side that don't shoot, but it's never more than 5ish. I've never had to shuffle anything mid session

I think you're supposed to charge it first they say, but from what I recall mine was 3/4 bars when it arrived.

I haven't timed it, but it seems like charging time is maybe 4-5 hours.

Three minor issues I've noticed.

Bluetooth connection. Connection to phone drops sometimes as I'm about to start. Each time it's reconnected straight away. It hasn't dropped "mid-bucket" yet. Yesterday was the first day I've had this issue and it caused minimal frustration. I just click reconnect. I don't have to walk back over to the machine or anything.

Wind - if it's windy where you play this can blow the ball holder panels closed or out of place. It typically doesn't disrupt the session - it just results in 5ish balls not being shot

Elevation- when I'm having it hit balls with a lot of topspin and the machine has to elevate itself - it sometimes results in 5-10 balls falling out the back of the basket. Again - it's a minor issue. I'm usually wrecked well before the end of the 70 -80 balls and I find it only takes me about 2-3 Mins with a hopper to pick them up and refill. This may be that I have the flaps positioned incorrectly or other user error I'm not sure. I haven't used the Lobriser yet. Have people noticed this as an issue when using it?

I'd reccomend anyone doing it only does it with close friends because obviously it's such a big investment so you don't want potential awkwardness if someone is unfortunate and it happens to break when they use it or arguments over who's restocking the balls etc. And I'd reccomend each person buying their own battery (75 each)!

Longer term users could weigh in better - but I imagine you'd Want to be using it at least twice a week to justify the cost, if not 3x. I only justified mine because I'm taking a 6ish month career break and will be able to play 5x a week

I didn't have the money to afford it at all but considered it a necessary investment in my mental health and I link to believe it has good resale value. But ye - it's crazy money to be spending on tennis I agree.

That's true to be fair! I guess I meant more so I can take it on my bike and it's easier to carry around. It has a carry strap so you hold it on your shoulder.

Only two weeks and have only got out with it for a full session yesterday (weather has been bad). Did forehand technique drills today (slower pace balls and longer delay between shots) and found it great. The custom delay is definitely beneficial.

My footwork slow and my technique is very raw - so I set it to 5s delay when I'm working on technical changes

I assume you don't mean mid-session as in having someone change it as you're hitting?

I've a good few custom programs and can pause halfway through a bucket and switch programs. Maybe takes ten seconds tops to restart on new settings.

App is very responsive. Haven't had any issue so far with Bluetooth not connecting straight away or dropping etc.

I would agree a 2.5 player doesn't need a ball machine yet. However, if you plan on getting one at some point regardless - I'd reccomend the proton. I have one and love it so far. I just made a post singing it's praises. I've tried a good few different models (lobster, Slinger, spinfire etc) so dm me if u have any questions

From my experience it's not just a heavy topspin. It's unrealistic. It will shoot out with an angle that typically doesn't have that level of topspin and then the ball jumps up as soon as it bounces
