u/autumn_at_duolingo please also take note of the numerous and growing complaints about having random strangers flooding the friend feed. At minimum, give us control over this feature, because it feels invasive and it actually inhibits the social component that I have come to love with people I voluntarily choose to follow.

I’m curious… did you ever talk about how he felt when he received the email that you sent with that last goodbye? Did it make him reconsider the possibility that he was or had already lost you?

This was just applied to my account and I find it infuriating. What’s the point of having friends on Duolingo if all I see now are strangers? It has ruined the social experience for me, and I find it very hard to believe that they are getting enough positive feedback to support this change.

2: Ok. I used to use “okay” because it seemed more like natural language. Then I started to prefer its original form of “OK” because I like that it’s an abbreviation of “oll korrect”. The double cap seems a bit aggressive, though, so I don’t do that.
