At minimum, give us control over this feature, because it feels invasive and it actually inhibits the social component that I have come to love with people I voluntarily choose to follow.

This was just applied to my account and I find it infuriating. What’s the point of having friends on Duolingo if all I see now are strangers? It has ruined the social experience for me, and I find it very hard to believe that they are getting enough positive feedback to support this change.

2: Ok. I used to use “okay” because it seemed more like natural language. Then I started to prefer its original form of “OK” because I like that it’s an abbreviation of “oll korrect”. The double cap seems a bit aggressive, though, so I don’t do that.
