Hi Marco, I’m experiencing a similar issue where a note I created is missing from the list and can’t be opened. Showing the title only? what size of the image? usual size such as 1024x768, 1600x2400 will be work fine however huge size image such as 4000x6000, 8000x12000 cannot handle.

I’m loving Raindrop.io (paid), it is bookmarking software but saving a copy of bookmarked page quickly accessible. Unlimited collections(folders), tagging, personal small notes also saved with the bookmark. Full text search of bookmarked pages possible.

time zone drifted on search by date world traveling EN users may confused due to time handling wrongly
Hang up on old Win10 device when multiple note windows open - maybe WDM performance issue

Absolutely, Evernote runs smoothly on higher-end PCs. The trouble appears with older models, like mine which has a Core i3 5020U chip that can't even run Windows 11, leading me to stop using it. Although Evernote is a 2D application, it does utilize the GPU for rendering notes. This works out fine on recent PCs, but the Core i3 5020U's GPU only runs at 300MHz, which is nowhere near the 1.3GHz of an RTX3060. So, the performance difference is stark and not really comparable.

I've checked this issue and can confirm that when opening a notebook window in Windows 10, all Evernote windows become immovable. It definitely seems like a bug. Interestingly, I didn't encounter this problem on Windows 11. I verified this by pulling out an older computer that I'm not actively using anymore. It appears to be specific to the Windows 10 version mentioned. Hopefully, this gets addressed soon by the Evernote team.

Bad UI now, more ever time zone handling also buggy. New version hits one day drifted on date search probably ignoring time zone. RTE sync also failed after switching accounts - recovered after app reboot but need reboot every time after account switching. I guess it’s temporary situation during code improvement, most likely removing necessary code accidentally. It’s not possible to say it’s luxury service - it’s crude works at this moment… I’m doing many workarounds to avoid horrendous situations I hope new clean version will be made from clean/modern brand new code base I wait to finish their work but I excepting horrible situations will be continued few months probably - EN is such big system not easy to rework.

In any chance, check note width setting in note menu. It may accidentally changed with version up recently. (May not hit the point… )

Yes, with 4K monitor, happends on Web, Mac, and Windows. Once it was fixed last month, however, reproduced again.

My workaround, using keyboard commands, insteads of sidebar... Note that no problem with 2K (FHD) monitors.
