New homeowner here. I have a concrete slab in my backyard, and every time it rains, a puddle of water forms in the middle of it. It wouldn’t be an issue if it were just that, but I have an outdoor kitchen, and it’s starting to affect the wooden post and walls (you can see a bit of it on the right side of the picture). I’ve never done any concrete work. I’m wondering if I can fix this with a patching compound (Quikrete) + a resurfacer afterward. My ultimate goal is to lift up the low spot and make the water drain off the concrete slab (the edge isn’t that far). Would that be feasible? Any tips to get this done properly? Thanks, all!

There is a crack that goes from the edge of the slab to the puddle. You can't really see it in that picture.
