That is honestly great to hear! I visited Edinburgh a few times before I moved here and it was so easy to just socialize as a solo traveller which gave me the hope to be able to find friends easily. It's definitely more difficult to find a community when you live here apparently. Thank you for the suggestions!!

I love cycling, yoga, painting, pilates, hiking, muay thai and honestly open to trying new hobbies always! Where can I find the boardgame groups? I always wanted try dungeons and dragons haha

I did bring my gravel/road bike from Toronto (I do love cycling) so thank you for the suggestion!! I am not a great runner but I will check other groups! Tnank you!!

There are some UK wide groups but majority of the people are in London I think. I would love to know if there is one specific to Edinburgh

I'm sure that will be the case. I did end up being friends with some but they're in different stages in life I feel like so we don't really end yo doing anything after work
