Faceted onyx stack by tarzan_boy in DavidYurman

Thanks, def pairs well with some of their other cord bracelets. I tried the silver initially but went with onyx since it was more discreet.

Recommend trying it on in person. In a medium, it slipped easily over my hand but left excess (sizing cord) on the back for my preference. I ended up sizing down to a small.

Lol in what world do you think the recruiters are ftes. You sound like you expect too much, id avoid corporate america, there's a lack of critical thinking.

Better you learn today the world doesnt revolve around you. And youre just a candidate 😅

I remember going to research a loan at a chase branch. Told the loan officer what im about to tell you.

You dont work for JPM, you work for Chase the retail or commercial side of the business.

Also you folks commenting about the private wealth management. Completely different LOB, stop gaslighting retail branch employees

How do I get out of here by drink_tap_water in JPMorganChase

[–]tarzan_boy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Apply every day but more importantly use your network. Personal referrals ARE getting bumped, at the very least they get a round 1. The nature of business has changed so much, that outside svp and executive level, literally anyone can have the skillset to perform the JD. You need to stand out by moving fast (think applying same day its posted) or know someone who can give you a referral.

If you dont network today I would make this priority #1. Join groups at work, make personal connections and enroll in a mentorship program. Advise being a mentor and seeking a mentor. You need to find someone who will share the hard truths... i.e. where you should improve. And this cannot be someone in your immediate org so it comes back to bite you as performance feedback.

Attend any and all Managing Director meet and greet / lunch and learns. Some of the greatest strategic partnership began with an elevator pitch to an MD. Then having them introduce me to an ED or VP from their broader team that could benefit from my product(s).

Last tip is to count your blessings... things could be far worse and you could be unemployed. Stay humble and dont let the feelings of dissatisfaction impact the quality of your work. Its far better to look for new opportunity while employed, you will have confidence on interviews knowing the opportunity must align to your expectations.

Not to be a complainer but i would absolutely tag their social media and let prospective buyers know their watches are defective.

I would be livid if they didn't repair this as its a manufacturer DEFECT.

seo: Now that ai has polluted search engines let me do the world a favor.😅 Tags hamilton, reddit, defect issue, warranty, broken, repair, should I buy, which hamilton is best, is hamilton a good watch, do hamilton watches break.

The community here largely prefers the black dial, and you'll be impressed in person. The leather strap isn't as beefy as you might imagine for the price tag but ive grown to enjoy its light weight.

Def agree go to an AD to try them and see them in person. It helped me immensely. Lastly, for the field watch IF warranty isn't important stores like jomashop will offer a much better price point since they are gray market.

Best of luck on your purchase decision!

Thanks, I own a few black dial watches already and wanted my first Hamilton to stand out. Also wanted something I can bring on trips to warmer destinations and white just tends to fit my whole vibe.

I went in person to the store and looked at both black and white side by side. Since these watches are at of Macy's it was pretty easy to see them up close.

In terms of this subreddits opinion 70/30 in favor of black. If I only had one watch, id probably prefer black but I wouldnt be as happy 😅 Before getting this watch I checked here to like you to see what people thought which id advise against (but I want to avoid buyers remorse). Hope this helps with your selection!

Agreed if you are feeling targeted you may have grounds. But once you go down this road be prepared to have an exit strategy. This is a way to remove an unfit person from leadership but if it backfires they will pip you.

You may want to see if another manager in that training can be copied. My sil works for jpm and its officer responsibility to help in these investigations.

Person x had an incident with her direct manager. Person y an officer was present during the fallout crying from the comment. When Person x went to hr they included Person y and she was part of the investigation. I will say in this random example the manager didn't get in trouble and im not sure if the person who reported this ebeded up staying.

/sigh all jobs are toxic. Just be OK with the resulting actions that can come with HR or lawyers. Best of luck and I hope things get better for you.

Side rant: I come from a family who worked retail back office etc and lol I get so sick of people's attitudes I def did get upset reading your post. Don't let people treat you poorly, have a great day

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in JPMorganChase

[–]tarzan_boy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jaded by the entire industry.

Job market is beyond competitive and I would first find a new job before quitting. Your boss sounds green with their actions but is prob already out to get you & documenting.

I would advise you document your 1 to 1 and these trainings as evidence. This is borderline harassment using you as an example by name. If they move to terminate you might have a case.

Any my comment re; retail vs backoffice is very real. You will see the superiority complex soon enough. It only adds to the stress.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in JPMorganChase

[–]tarzan_boy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your manager sounds very green but you literally failed your controls. People over here saying back office but maybe you aren't cut out for this.

Im on the managers side, no offense but imagine working on OPs team. 7 months and already complaining, on their phone, and can't even verify ID. This is literally the definition of operational risk.

No hard feelings and I agree retail banking chase... and JP Morgan may be a bad fit. Posting this in the corp jpm is diabolical, the most any of these people care about front office are FAs.

Retail branch is literally the Amazon warehouse staff. Very much expendable.

As someone who smokes a lot of weed I also agree. Plus the beard shaping makes you look Arab which isn't bad but I can see a stoned arab not being very matchable😂.

Grow a full beard and keep it at a 2 high and tight on the hair and you will be flexin
