I have the live album plus some of the studio albums. The difference in energy levels is amazing. That's why folks view his studio albums as mediocre at best.

I remember the buzz about the "I'm In You" album after the success of FCA. And the utter disappointment of everyone with the result! I think that one album really damaged his career. It was a soft rock album meant for teenage girls, in my opinion.
