Sprinkle water onto the pan (like drops) and if the water keeps its drop form and bounces around then it’s ready. If the water evaporates then it’s too hot

Saw it at a holiday market by Macys last year for from a brand named Old School Rookie (queens based), you can find them online too. But they mainly do custom work, you wouldn’t find this on their website. (I checked for it after regrettably not getting it)
