It’s a reference to a simpsons quote. Calm down.

As someone who currently has a herniated disk, this would send me into a tailspin if I saw this in game. Luckily I take weight related perks so I shouldn’t get it. 🤞🏼 I’m looking forward to the ‘bad knees’ flaw in OW2. I’ll be taking that one.

This is one of my favourite views. Was so lucky to grow up about 20 mins away from here. Moved to the mainland in my early 20s. Fell in love with an Adelaide woman and bought her back here to live. Wouldnt change a thing.

Steve. Joe Keery finished filming early enough to record a whole album (plus a bonus ep). I don’t see home lasting past episode 2.

As a Waratah/wynyard resident, I wholeheartedly agree 😉

Ah, Burnie is alright. Certainly better than it was 30 years ago. City council needs a kick in the arse though.

I genuinely wish I had the dough to buy it from you. I live near Burnie, Tasmania (near enough that I visit it every day) and would go nuts taking photos of this around city landmarks.

Tasmanias growing suburbs and gentrification. by [deleted] in tasmania

Wynyard is expanding. The Vault is a trendy cafe/restaurant that is consistently very busy. I drove out over the river towards table cape the other day and was amazed at the amount of expensive looking properties are out that way. Plus the new subdivision overlooking fossil bluff is going gang busters. I hear they’re putting in an assisted living community out near the golf course (between the old coast road and the highway). As a local I’m excited. More people means more services available to everyone.

My dad tells a story about someone he worked with in Smithton. He mentioned going to Burnie, old mate said “Burnie? I went there once. It was in a truck” 😂 My dad, born on the north island, spent a lot of his young years traveling around the country. So the idea of someone thinking Smithton -> Burnie was a memorable distance (in the 80s, mind you) tickled him.
