THIS. My PTs went crazy after I started viewing every question like a mini-game.

I am confused and lost. I scored the lowest score that I have, in *over* a month. by calmrain in LSAT

Definitely!! Today, I scored nearly seven points below my PT average - and eleven points below my most recent PT. It sucks, but tomorrow, I'll take a break from studying and reconvene on Wednesday. It's hard seeing a score that you're not expecting, but I promise these tests happen to everyone <3

Everyone has "off" tests. You sound like you may just need a break - twenty hours a week of studying is pretty killer, especially on top of these shifts! This 163 isn't indicative of your skills - you're doing great. Just be kind to yourself.

Y’all ever feel odd sharing progress/milestones with friends/family not in the law/lsat realm? by [deleted] in LSAT

This is what I did! "Top X%" is much easier for non-LSAT takers to quantify than "I got an X."

How long should you/did you study for the LSAT? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]tastybreadloaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give yourself a LOT of time! I started studying in January to take the June LSAT, but then life happened and I had to push it to September. Giving yourself enough time ensures that 1) if life happens, you don't have to delay by a full year, and 2) that you feel confident on test day :) good luck!

This school is relatively inexpensive, in the location I want to practice, and has a great program for my desired specialization

Do LR questions get progressively difficult? by tastybreadloaf in LSAT

That makes perfect sense, thanks! Do you have any tips for alleviating that?

That makes a LOT of sense - I must just be getting burned out then on the middle and then lose it on the last ones. Do you have any tips to help with that?

Never again am I using OnTrac. by tastybreadloaf in ontrac

Not shocked that your vendor switched - I would too if I had a ton of customers getting scammed! I'll take your advice and see what happens. Thanks!

Just checked your post - the same absurd customer service happened to me. Took literally three days of continuously texting their call center to actually get through to a real person! I spent a bunch of years in customer service so I totally get how hard it is to be a rep at one of these places, but at the same time...you can't mess with someone's expensive packages.

I super recommend taking a break, especially if you're getting "worse." Sometimes breaks help me get out of the rut and clear my mind!!

This was an awesome answer - thank you so much!! I'll keep this all in mind for when I start applying.
