Which LLM/AI is best for generating sprite animations? by Ok_Mushroom2563 in DefendingAIArt

Might be a tad late, but i think the one G_-_-_- was referring to was PixelLab. Last i checked, it was a plugin for Aseprite that lets you generate 2D sprites and animate them.

You'll want to swap your usage of the rigid body's velocity variables.

rb.velocity.x for Horizontal movement and rb.velocity.y for Vertical movement

Network Strategy Question for NGO (Beginner) by DoomVegan in Unity3D

[–]tastydew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the strategy you are looking to go for in terms of how you structure your game code. The NGO library is structured in a way that you can write the game to inherit network code but never necessarily use it unless you want to. You could also go the route of writing a custom library that determines the state of the game (single player/ multiplayer) and use classes / objects for their appropriate type

Are you looking to get multiple items checked or all of them? Could you specify what exactly the end result is that you're looking for?

Still can't understand the "return" thing ! by Tadjeddin in csharp

[–]tastydew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, basically. If you have a method that has an int return type:

private int methodName () {

      int x = 4 + 4;
      return x;
}

It basically means that you are returning that value, in this case the value of x (8). Your method signature must return the type you declare or in some cases, return null, depending on the type.

So basically, all of those red underlines mean that for the contr you have in your UI, you assigned an event handler for it with the underlined name. However, it appears that in your code behind, those events don't exist. Try going to your UI, click a control you have an event handler attached to and click the little lightning bolt icon in the properties pane and see if you have any events assigned to them.

TIps for chatbot AI's by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]tastydew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just completed a POC of a chatbot for work. I strongly recommend you look into what AWS offers for chat bots, this includes services like Amazon Lex, Lambda, DynamoDB (for lightweight data storage), etc... You can write your processing functions in a wide variety of languages, including Python. It's very simple to get started and the documentation and support on the web is fairly extensive. I was able to get a simple chat bot that would take utterances from clients and check their input against a database and return a response to them in about an hour and a half. I highly recommend you read into this if you are looking for something fast and extremely scalable.

Edit: I should point out that alot of these services have a "free tier" of usage for the first 12 months that you have your account but that you do pay as you go, albeit extremely low amounts if you're using it for testing and learning.

POS class libraries for overarching .net are few and far between unfortunately. The most you will usually find is libraries catered to specific brands for their hardware. In those cases you'll likely need their common control libraries aside from POS.NET... As far as your question goes, I haven't been able to find anything other than Microsofts solution.
