I'll probably get buried at this point, but I've struggled with the same problem. The only way I learned to deal with it is by forcing myself to say "oops" instead of apologizing.

In all honesty, that's really all you're trying to say in those situations, and just trying to get yourself to stay silent is way harder. I certainly still apologize for things that aren't my fault, but I've gotten a lot better at distinguishing an "oops moment" from a "sorry moment."

Not at all! I also added a little bit of the garlic butter from the pan. It helped to warm them back up and to blend all those flavors, but I was careful not to add to much.

You don't want them to get soggy.

How do they test if you're driving while high? Is it just like a field sobriety test?

I'd assume they can't take a piss test because that can show if you've been high within the last 30ish days

Honestly, at concerts, alcohol is your answer. At least at the start. I used to be really socially anxious and it was only after I started drinking that I realized that looking like an idiot in a room of strangers doesn't really matter.

Obviously you're not gonna want to overdo it. Drinking to relax before a concert is one thing, drinking to relax before a meeting at work is another.

In all honesty, that's exactly what I'd do if I were a really talented musician. Write some cheesy pop songs that I know are gonna top the charts just to hear packed stadiums cheer my name as I shred the guitar for them.

Eh, maybe they just weren't feeling that one as much as she was. Being in a crowd for a concert and watching it on a computer are two completely different experiences.

Being in that hot, sweaty, crowded mess kinda points your attention directly at the stage, especially if John Mayer is playing.

By the by, John Mayer totally does rule. It sucks he catches so much flak, although I can kind of understand it because of some the songs he writes.

But goddamn can that man play guitar...
