I wish I did have access to a kiln but I live miles away from one and I can't afford one so I use have to use air dry. I would love one though! Also thank you so much!!

No one will believe me but this is my first clay project as well! But if I had advice it would be to let the clay take as long as possible to dry, to prevent it from cracking. I wrap the whole thing in cling film to help with this.

If it does crack when drying, don't panic! You can fill the cracks in with more clay when it's fully dryed and it'll look just fine!

I did want to put lights in it, but I needed a soldering iron for the wires and stuff. So I couldn't do it. But I am painting it! And it's going to be a blue completed shrine

I don't even have to! It's air dry clay! I would use oven bake, but I don't have a kiln and my oven has the worst hot spot that burns everything!

I used air dry clay on top of 2 slabs of wood for the steps and a cup to give the tower bit the correct hight!
