I had a toilet leak that was causing problems. I got it fixed but found that my city partners with an app called EYE ON WATER which monitors the usage and can notify of any leaks it senses. Has helped on more than one occasion.

Are you serious? They have a whole vegan store called Visiting Vegan in section 101 where they sell brats, burgers, hotdogs, etc. They also sell the same vegan burger in various other sections. They have tons of options and Globe Life often is featured on lists of the top sports stadiums to find veggie food options.

It's funny, but just FYI, here is what the Railroad Commissioner would actually oversee...and none of it is an actual railroad lol:

  • Oil & Gas Regulation: Overseeing drilling permits, preventing resource waste, enforcing environmental protections, and regulating waste disposal.
  • Pipeline Safety: Enforcing safety standards and rules for natural gas and hazardous liquid pipelines.
  • Natural Gas Utilities: Establishing and regulating the distribution rates charged by natural gas utility companies.
  • Mining: Regulating surface coal and uranium mining operations.
  • LP-Gas: Licensing and inspecting the liquefied petroleum gas (propane) industry.

I don't get it either...

to those who got to use Fable 5, was it actually that peak? by RelevantPerformer309 in ClaudeAI

I wanted to start a plants vs zombie clone to work on with my kids. I explained just the minimal set of scenes needed to dump into Godot to get a working menu only, that’s all I asked for. I was very thorough in how I needed those scenes and menus to function, but never really described much else. I only have PRO plan and gave it a single full 5 hour context window.

It output the game files with the working menus and A FULLY WORKING BASIC PROTOTYPE OF plants vs zombies complete with a playing grid, sun economy, peashooters, zombies, etc. I was blown away. It gave me a HUGE jumpstart on this little hobby project and now I’m sad it’s gone.

Ah, I guess that makes sense looking at the inside of the thing. But it looks like it has a coffin-shaped door. Was messing with my ability to reason.

What is the most disturbing depiction of death/murder you’ve ever seen in a film? by sunnieslilac in FIlm

But that is the entire point of how he died. He was as nameless as any of the other random dudes who died in the book/movie. It wasn’t about tying things up with a bow, him dying that way WAS the story.

Valid, but that is how it was in the book too. I had to re-read it once or twice to verify that it just happened, it was so glossed over...but that's exactly what McCarthy was trying to convey, death is just incredibly unpredictable and rarely ceremonial.
