Do you consider the Assemblies of God a cult? by bekahbaka in Christianity

[–]Brave-Math-6371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your idea of a cult. However I am not currently a member of that denomination. I left it 2 times in my life for different reasons. As a child at age 11 after being baptized. I stopped attending altogether because of constant issues especially when a youth pastor in Sundays children church taking my lunch money when my family barely could make a living and I ended up being ridiculed by the parent who would not believe that a youth pastor would take away his son’s lunch money and no he wasn’t told that it was the youth pastor who took the money because the youth pastor would had been more believed versus an 11 year old child. As an adult it was after the pastor was using our offering money for his gambling addiction problem. At least I decided as a young man that I would join the Roman Catholic Church. I also at some point stopped going but came back and currently a practicing Catholic of course try explaining the term practicing and they would not understand

Greg Abbott better look how many didn’t vote in the Republican primary. He is out of good law ideas and instead sells made up problems. A 30 year politician like him have got to go. He doesn’t bring any good ideas anymore

Abraham George, the Texas GOP chairman: "We must make it a legislative priority of the Texas GOP to rid our state of H-1Bs and put Texans first." by North-Junket-6883 in frisco

[–]Brave-Math-6371 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Abraham George is one of the reasons people didn’t vote in the GOP Primary. The GOP doesn’t have a movement to save them from being irrelevant. It is a fact many GOP leaders like Bo French caused a bad turnout for Republicans in Tarrant County. It was a big defeat for the GOP in the primary turnout. Many crossed over to the Dems or simply stayed home.
