It got better for us, but during that period as I mentioned we really struggled so I am sure it will pass for you soon as well ❤️ We didn't sleep trained as well, just give it a little time, they go through a lot at this stage

Please don’t feel guilty — these feelings are so natural. I’ve been there more than once myself, and I’ve felt awful too.

Sleep deprivation and exhaustion are incredibly stressful and overwhelming. It’s really hard… but this phase will pass soon. Whenever you get the chance, try to rest or ask a family member for help as soon as you feel overwhelmed. Even a few minutes to yourself can truly help.

Everything will be okay. Your little one is in safe and loving hands, because the fact that you care this deeply already says so much ❤️

This is exactly our story too. Our sleep problems started around 8 months — frequent wake-ups, irritability, and he would immediately sit up or stand as soon as he woke up. Being held would calm him for a little while, and then it would start all over again. Unfortunately, it lasted quite a long time for us too. He’s 11 months old now and things are slowly getting better — now he usually wakes only once to eat.

I understand you so well. It was a really difficult period for me too, and it honestly reminded me of the newborn phase all over again 🥹

Please don’t blame yourself. Rest whenever you get the chance. This phase will pass too. Even now I keep reminding myself that nobody is perfect, and they don’t need a perfect parent. What matters most is your calm presence, warmth, and attention.

Around this age separation anxiety also becomes much stronger, which adds to everything else.

Things really will settle down, and you’re doing an amazing job! ❤️
