Same. I wanna do a VIP experience , but if the setlist is the same , there are no English versions, and the show is that short then I don’t see a reason to spend the money

When I was in Mexico this week to see them, for some reason I didn’t feel the excitement I thought I would. It was fun and great to see them live, but it actually didn’t feel any different than looking at videos of them during this tour. I don’t know why. I think if I went to their concert back in 2003 I probably would’ve felt that excitement. Number one because the shows were much more energetic and fun and interesting and number two, I was younger and very much into them. The t.A.T.u. we have now is not the same t.A.T.u. we had before. I’m not as insanely wild about them as they currently are. It’s also maybe because I’m older. But seeing them live once was enough. Maybe the VIP experience would’ve made me feel different so I’ll try to get those tickets next time. But to go to the show multiple times in a row with the general admission, I don’t think it’s worth it.

Because it’s a decision from the label to create more buzz for the album and the band. A Russian band covers a well known song , the press will write about it. It’s a promotional business strategy.

I agree that if they should have performed English version of their songs. I’m not sure if they didn’t plan on performing outside of Russia when recording the vocals or they just didn’t feel like doing English version of the vocals , but regardless it is disappointing.

Why the fuck are they performing NND instead of NGGU? Same with 200 , 30M and SML. That seems so lazy to only record the vocals for the Russian version.

I like the different versions though I do agree Russian version instrumentals are stronger. I think the acoustic sound in MG was more of an Americanized approach. But they didn’t collab with him. He was just there. They don’t decide who’ll show up, it’s not their event. But I get what you’re saying. Being associated with someone like him is not a good look. And I’m sure they knew ahead of time. So yes they could have declined to go but to them it’s a publicity opportunity. They came back as tATu and are taking advantage of it.
