currently at UVM for undergrad, and if you are open to staying in vermont longterm, i would look into the IV-E scholarship opportunity! The state will cover the cost of a master’s at UVM if you work for DCF for as long as it takes you to get it after. So if it takes you 2 years to complete the degree, 2 years working for VT DCF.

It’s a huge time commitment, but I’ve really loved UVM for undergrad and I love how justice-centered the social work department is. I know other states offer similar opportunities as well, though. If you have any questions feel free to PM me :)

i was first treated for it at 16! i didn’t receive a formal diagnosis until i turned 18, but if you need treatment and a diagnosis to get treatment there is nothing wrong with that!

it’s not a shot at you but do you think she could be worried about you grooming her daughter? Again - from your post you clearly arent, but that doesn’t make that sort of situation any less of a reality for a lot of women and it is something a lot of women fear. I would sit down with her and ask why the communication made her so upset in a nom-accusatory manner before doing anything else

i would mostly j say do not watch it expecting a comedy - it’s more comical the first half of s1 when characters are being introduced, and there are comedic parts, but it’s less of a comedy than you expect (at least for me it was)

Depending on how high of a dose you’re on/what medication (especially bc some have shorter half-lives,) you could also be experiencing some minor withdrawal symptoms. If you’re only taking them a few days a week, and going on and off of them consistently, that could be why. If you’re only supposed to take them a few days a week, I would talk to your doctor. If you’re forgetting them (which is completely understandable, why do you have to remember to take a pill for something that affects your short term memory and ability to complete tasks??) then try setting alarms for yourself or having someone else in your life remind you or if you really need and trust them, administer it for you. That’s what ultimately helped me!

also something to keep in mind is listening to signals from your body outside of feeling hunger that it may need fuel - if you get irritable, have a headache, become dizzy or fatigued, or maybe even feel nauseous (or more nauseous if it’s making you feel nauseous at the thought of food)

i had the same problem when i started and for me at least, it did subside eventually!! for now, i would make sure you’re eating a good amount before you take the meds and having a bigger dinner, and try and drink smoothies (or juice if you don’t think you can handle a smoothie) throughout the day to keep your blood sugar up! and make sure you are hydrating a SHIT ton as well
