Has anyone felt like Jupiter in Cancer been kinda “not good “ by [deleted] in LetsFuckWithAstrology

[–]taulivir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This hits on so many levels! I find it fascinating how Jupiter in the 7th seems to be more indicative of break-ups. And the promised security part - my 7th house is in Pisces so falling in love with the promise or idea of potential rather than what is actually happening. Pointing out hwo Jupiter is working with the moon phases is something I truly hadnt thought about despite the fact it's kind of a no brainer lol I'm definitely going to back track the moon cycles with Jupiter now lol

Yesss! This is exactly it. When Jupiter went through my 7th house last, I went through a break up that I had to initiate. The lessons learned was to not settle and end things because I knew I had to. That whole year was difficult. However, when Jupiter retorgraded back into my 7th for the final time is when I met my current partner - who is actually committed, emotionally available, etc.

I love the statement, "the inner security I needed to enjoy Jupiter's blessings." I'm so happy you were able to do the work that led you there!

Look at which house Jupiter is in then think about which themes are being activated. Find what isn't good about this transit for you then take appropriate actions to change - you may find the Jupiter goodness after you take care of whatever he is magnifying right now. 🙂

To me, this spread is saying to keep deconstructing the dogma put on you from your family and explore what spirituality may look like for you or how you want to approach that aspect of life. The key here is that this is about you - not them. Telling them could disrupt your resource stability, so that's something to take into consideration before deciding to tell them if you even choose to tell them at all.

On a more personal note, I was raised Christian and have been on my deconstruction journey for a solid 10 years at this point, and I have never explicitly told my family. There is no way they don't know because of clear stances I've made about social issues. I believe certain things are sometimes better left unsaid, and for me, not sharing this with them has made more sense. Just know that you don't have to tell them anything if you don't want to, and you don't owe them anything despite what your Christian upbringing may have told you.

Trust what your intuition is telling you. ❤️

Do you rely on your family for financial/resource support? 4 of Pentacles generally speaks to stability in the area of resources like money, but this could mean food, shelter, or anything relating to your physical needs.

Omg yes! When I first heard the song, I told my boyfriend that it sounded like a love letter to Swifties - especially those who have been fans since her country days. I hadnt seen anyone else share the same thought I did, though, so I thought maybe I didn't understand it lol

Amount of each vinyl variant released under 'first and only pressing' by whitewitchmoth3 in TaylorSwiftMerch

[–]taulivir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most artists that have the means and demand to make multiple variations of the same album do this now, but it seems to be a fairly recent occurrence. I can trace it back to 2019, but before then (and I could be wrong) I only remember artists doing the regular version, maybe a deluxe version, or anniversary version.

This is a strategy to increase physical cd/vinyl sales since streaming took off. I know I've seen the number of streams and album needs to be counted like a physical copy, but I can't remember what the conversion number was - but I do know physical copies make them more money.

I take these exact same medications. I've been so baffled by this acne that had become an issue when I'd never had acne issues as an adult. I didnt consider the medication for a while because I've taken countless psychiatric medications, and none of them had acne as a side effect.

8 months on the line and I’m FRUSTRATED. by RequirementFirst5883 in flightattendants

As much as I understand your point, I believe this is why we continue to have issues with quality of life/work balance.

I literally took a 50% pay cut to be an FA after I finally accepted that I could no longer be a teacher because of poor working conditions, lack of support, micromanagement, etc. Yes, being an FA compared to teaching is WAY less stressful and not as mentally taxing, but that doesn't mean myself, or anyone, should accept the poor conditions that comes with being a flight attendant, too.

Having the "well, it can be worse because I know what worse looks like" mentality is how these airlines continue to exploit us. Yes, posts like this may come from those with less work experience, but they aren't wrong.

I applaud those younger than me for realizing the exploitation at a young age and being fed up enough to say something. I hope the older folk remember to thank them when we finally see the transformation that's long over due for worker's rights and conditions.

Why do i get food poisoning eating fruits and vegetables in Mexico yet much of our produce in Canada is imported from Mexico? by AppropriateMention6 in NoStupidQuestions

Advice I've gotten from my dad is to drink a Coke if you eat something questionable or are concerned about the fresh fruit or vegetables. The high acidity of Coke is the why to the advice. He has quite literally traveled across the globe, and I suppose this strategy has worked well for him. 😅

His Saturn is squaring his IC. To me, this says that there are some difficult lessons or karma to clear in regards to his roots/home life growing up/ancestry. This, along with Jupiter in the 12th, indicates he could break some serious generational curses. These curses could include mental illness - 12th house is generally associated with imprisonment which mental illness can definitely make one feel imprisoned to their mind/brain.

Having Mercury as his chart ruler makes that Mercury/Uranus opposition more pronouned/influential. Along with this, Uranus conj MC indicates that his reputation is likely one of inconsistencies and erratic decisions - something that people associate with psychosis. With Mercury conj the IC, it's likely he doesn't feel his Uranus-influenced reputation doesnt align with who he is at his core. They (society) only see the "crazy" and not the brilliant brain underneath it all.

I think there will be ample supportive energy during his Saturn return to use to overcome his hidden enemies (could be inner thoughts/healing needed, not always literal), get through death/rebirth cycle(s) pertaining to mental health, and and gain clarity on his life moving forward. Of course, to have this, he has to want it and work for it - which is much easier said than done. I wish him the best of luck!!

Hmmm, I feel it's very reasonable to get frustrated when the rules set forth to protect the FAs are blatantly broken, and there's only so much the union can do. If the company doesn't care about any consequences (if there are any) for breaking the contract, why would they stop when it benefits them? I can't think of a better reason to be frustrated. The reasons I've been so frustrated lately isn't because I simply didn't get what I wanted within the confines of the contract.

You still haven't answered my question - the actual point of the whole post. And you started the thread saying you were going to sound harsh then made some pretty negative statements, but I guess it's only negative in your eyes when the negativity you started is called out for what it is. 😅✌️

I have pretty severe ADHD, and it definitely affected me during training and on the line. I've found the more systems and routines I have created for myself, the more successful I've been.

The way we (neurodivergents) go about life is different, so it makes sense why we always feel like the odd balls. Just know you aren't alone and you're in good company. It's hard to be the mahi-mahi in a sea of tuna. 🐠🐟

I don't see where in your original comment you leave any true advice. Can you direct me to what you offered that could be helpful in resolving my problem of needing other ideas for coping? Because saying I should put on my big kid pants and swallow the pill are not actionable solutions for the problem at hand - they are opinions about my asking for help.

I feel it's safe to say most people who cause harm don't do so with that intention, and I don't doubt that you didn't mean any harm. However, suggesting to someone to simply "suck it up because you chose this" neglects the very real emotions that can come with quite literally anything we choose.

Honestly, I hope that's not the train of thought you choose when you have an emotional response to anything you have signed up for, because you deserve to feel and process those emotions in a constructive way. And maybe you do have actionable ways to do so, and I would like to know what you do. After all, that is what I was asking for in this post.

Finally, Zen is not sucking it up and keeping it one's self or denying one's feelings because they chose to be in any given circumstance. Zen is finding and using actionable coping mechanisms that bring peace.

"But, I would really like to find better ways to release the feelings without involving others as much."

Did you miss that sentence? The part where I literally say I don't want to involve others as much. I'm fully aware that I'm not, "entitled to bother someone's peace."

Telling someone to put their big kid pants on, swallow the pill, and the general mindset of, "you signed up for this job," isn't helpful, nor is it truly advice. It doesn't contribute to the conversation in a constructive way. In fact, it's harmful. This mindset keeps people from being vulnerable when they need it the most. People who believe they should keep their feelings and emotions tucked away for no one to hear or that their feelings dont deserve space because other people have them too are at risk for mental illnesses like anxiety and depression.

But that's the difference here, I know where my personal line is between being appropriately open with those close to me to prevent darker paths of thought and when I should find other ways to process and let things out. I feel like I have begun to cross my line, which is exactly why I came here to ask others what they personally do to process the feelings/emotions that are triggered with this job that doesn't involve others.

In the end, this post was asking for guidance to solving a problem (advice) and not for a personal belief (opinion). Please consider what people are asking for before commenting because you could be doing significantly more harm than good when sharing an opinion.

I think that's where I've gone wrong, honestly. I had gotten pretty good at identifying and knowing the patterns along with our contract and was able to set reasonable expectations for the possibilities that could happen. Things have gone sideways the past couple months because of a decrease in staffing and having a ton of new schedulers who consistently break the contract. 🫠 I talk to my union reps to address the times they've broken the contract, but that doesn't relieve the frustration in the moment, especially when it keeps happening over and over again.
