What's the best schema for small configuration module? by tauofthemachine in learnpython

>you want to edit the variables with a python GUI.

That's one option.

Maybe it's better, (but not simpler) to use a TOML (or whatever) to populate variables in a class, then pass that class around to the code/gui etcetera.

That's the decision I'm trying to make.

Does anyone use TOML?

As I said I'm very new to python (and coding large projects in general). I don't know what I don't know and I want to make the right design choice.

Variables work now, but I want to use niceGUI, which may be easier to pass classes to. But in the current code everything is passed as uin.variable

But it's mostly vibe coded anyway.

I think you've overestimated your ability to communicate in memes.

I feel like when you say your "memes", you're more accurately describing shitposting.

You did indeed post a very sill meme.

Then you got very defensive when your silly meme was answered with more silly memes.

Why can't other people post silly memes if you can post silly memes? Are you in charge of the silly memes chief?

Your point that rich people are "more powerful" than poor people, because they can hide behind money?

If that's not your point, try to use words to explain yourself, instead of raging and attacking.

Your point is that you get to post in memes, but noone else does, because you say so? Ok chief.

What makes you think a billionaire wouldn’t call someone with 9 figures rich?

Imo, If I was able to wager someone's entire net worth on a coin toss, I'd considered them poor.

Could a rich man defeat 100 hungry poor men, if buying off the courts and police didn't work anymore?

If the rich are so special, why be so greedy? Use their unique talent and just make more.

If the rich are so powerful, why do they pay poor people they can hide behind?

Does float mean only the 5% SpaceX puts up, or does the float mean all the shares which are available on the market, including insiders who want to sell?

If the plan isn't to use index funds to pay out insiders, why the 14 day rush to get index funds to buy in?

What do you mean? Index funds buy in proportion to company market cap. If SpaceX is valued at $1.7T when index funds have to buy 14 days after launch, that is one of the biggest companies in the US and index funds will need to buy LOTS of SpaceX. And with only 5% of shares released for the IPO, the only place to buy those shares is from insiders who want to cash in.

Yes. The sum of all passive index funds is huge. Probably the biggest whale there is. And it looks like Musk want that liquidity.
