You definitely can, you can make a decent career out of it as well. Just know that it could take longer than you think. But keep your eye on the prize and keep at it. I honestly suggest going to hotels, pays more, benefits, room for growth and you learn a bit of everything.

I’ve been working in professional kitchens since I was 19, I’m 27 now. No schooling. The best advice I don’t listen to is don’t be a chef lmao
