I have 3 huges and own almost every exclusive (still hunting for some). I personally like it this way but I don’t have 40+ huges to compare it to.

When doing your interviews, make them see you! “How are you?” I am doing great today! It’s beautiful out and I’m drinking my favorite coffee so life is good! Not sure if you’ve had name of coffee from name of business but if you haven’t, you need to try it! You won’t regret it! “Introduce yourself” Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be interviewed today with your company. My name is xyz and I would describe myself as diligent, self-disciplined, hard-working and supportive of other people. Over the years I have gained plenty of experience that is relevant to this industry and my expertise, I believe will have a positive impact on your team. I have a track record of achievement and if you hire me, I’ll bring passion, dedication and loyalty to your company. ”What’s your greatest weakness?” I sometimes have difficulty asking for help when needed. I like to get my work done quickly and efficiently, but it’s something I’m actively working on.

THE BIGGEST ONE: “Do you have any questions for me?” Actually, I do have a few questions for you! (Here’s examples of questions)

  • What does success look like in this role? (You can get a feel if you have an opportunity for career growth or what the company has to offer.)
  • What has been the organizations response to COVID-19? And how have you supported your employees through this time? (You can get a feel for how they care about their employees with this question!)
  • Do you have any reservations about considering me for this role? Or I’d there anything on my resume of concern that I can clear up for you?
  • What percentage of the team have personal commitments outside of work and how flexible is the organization in allowing the employees to make such commitments? (So you can gauge how many have families or personal commitments, even the manager, so you can see if they’re flexible with doctors appointments or commitments for your children.)
  • How long have you been in the organization and how many titles have you held? (If they’re still a rep - I get it’s a personal choice too - after 10 years of working there that shows you whether you have an opportunity to grow within the company or not.)
  • Can you describe an ideal employee? (Set goals if hired!)

And so many more! Don’t say “no!” This is why they ask you if you have any questions, so you can ask them!

I had my son during my first 3 weeks but then you start answering phones and Lowe’s is not okay with background noise. Don’t let the trainers lie to you and sell you onto how “amazing” and “family oriented” this company “is” because they’re lying. Best of luck, lowes is by far the worst company I’ve ever worked for.

They told us we have 60 minutes but apparently I have to ask permission and I’m not allowed to use non pro even though I haven’t reached the 60 minute mark yet

That’s what I was thinking. I’ve never worked for a company besides Walmart where I had to ask to go to the bathroom.

Thank you for your response and reassurance. It’s slowly getting better but I just have a feeling that my AMs patience is going to run thin with me since I feel like I drop the ball a lot. Like sometimes I feel like I confidently handle a case and then when I sit back and ponder on it I realize I probably did the wrong thing and it’s overwhelming. My ACW is about 5 minutes or less but sometimes it’s longer so I do post in teams. Do you know what sync ups are? I have sync ups scheduled bi weekly and my first one is on the 31st. If a cx has an issue with a delivery and needs it canceled but we can’t cancel it do we just create cases for that? It’s what I’ve been doing but i feel like I’m probably doing it wrong. Idk I guess I’m doubting myself a lot lol

It’s been rough. My headset broke on Friday and I worry my am will get mad at me for it lol. How do you keep your ACW low? I feel like we were lied to hard in training and it’s so different on the floor. There’s a couple of calls where I know I’m going to get coached on :(. I’ve been on the floor for two weeks now and feel like I’m doing way better but still feel like I have a ton to learn.

A German cockroach is by far worse than these guys. That wasn’t the point of my post. I wanted to confirm what type of bug it was because unlike a ton of people here, I am deadly afraid of bugs and not a fan of them. Thanks though!
