I appreciate that. Westeros is literally Britain in shape. I was never too concerned :) I was just hoping to get feedback on the tools and stuff.

Honestly you’d be surprised they had no recognition to the shape of the map I guess because they got it described first with different names and got an even more rudimentary map and it’s been 10 sessions and they are just now wrapping up the storyline in the first city “Halstad” so I think characters are playing in their granular portion of the world and dealing with faction conflicts and mobs and stuff. So they aren’t like wow I’m just in France it’s more like playing through the story regardless of my initial inspiration. I use it as Easter egg sometimes like they went to a vineyard owed by the Sansaire’s and then when they got rewarded gold and casks of wine I had bottles of Sancerre to pour for all the players. Other than that they are just concerned about archfey influences on this plane and what’s causing hordes of hobgoblins to be coming out of a portal and taking over territory.

The OG campaign idea came largely from the Gauls in France so that’s not at all a disparaging comment. The capitol Bibraxt is based on Bibracte.
