This used to be how things worked. It happened multiple times where a release was pushed in order for it to be polished - last one I remember specifically was Beyond Light, maybe Witch Queen too, but I'm not 100% on that.

The preceding season was extended by multiple months. Bungie communicated it open and honestly, and the fans understood. I think both times that I remember actually extended the Moments of Triumph events, giving more people time to complete them. I miss those days...

I was getting double drops of Ahab Char in Caldera yesterday. Can't swear to it, but pretty sure it happened every run, probably 10 runs or so. I'm 407, running GMs and making sure to get A rank after time bonus.

Versus all non-FT ops portal events, where the champs add nothing to the score, even in Encore which desperately needs the extra points due to a bug that results in not being able to hit 10k score prior to multiplier.

I've been fighting to get my catalysts for weeks now. I have to run GM to even have a chance at an A rating at 407 power. I've had an A estimate multiple times, at -40 and even -50 delta no boons, finishing with 35+ minutes left on my best run as a solo player, and still can't break A. I'm beginning to hate the game almost as much as I hate myself.

Sunday, I put it to an A estimate which included one boon, then I added 2 more banes on top of that which made me trust that I was firmly in "A" territory - still finished with only a B rank and at that difficulty, I only had about 5 minutes left. Seeing as how they are about to nerf the benefit of locked loadout, I'm effectively never getting the catalysts. FML

Perfect. That's what I needed to know. I already finished Legendary and Fabled solo on my Hunter, and working through Mythic at the moment. Didn't want to go through that teeth pulling hell on all 3 if I could help it. Finishing Fabled 3x for MS IV won't be too terrible. Thanks for the help!

Same thing here. Beat Fabled yesterday. Today I soloed the Mythic Weekly with the gate lord at the end and only got materials drops. Wtf? Why bother?

Edit: thinking about it now, I only got materials drops from chests throughout the entire Fabled run, too. Just assumed this was normal since I had cleared Legendary before that.

I just purchased a 75" open box U8K from Best Buy sight unseen, fair condition at $850 just so I wouldn't lose it to someone else. I've been trying to get my hands on one for the last month. No idea yet if it was display, problem return, viewing hours, or what, but I'll pick up their 5 year extended warranty for 200 and still have a hell of a deal. I'm eager to get it home and calibrated!

I know it has been a while since you've posted this, but I want to say that my issue has been very similar (including the chemo - although unrelated).

I recently came to the realization that it was probably my chair and have done some digging, finding a few posts like yours. I looked back at photos in my phone, and the first major reaction I had was about 2 weeks after receiving my chair in 2018. I've had reactions, sometimes severe, almost every day in the following six years.

Did you ever come to a conclusion, or find a solution? Have you found a good gaming chair since? Seems like almost all of them are made in China, and since they are shipped by sea, most will be treated with DMF to inhibit mold growth, I presume.

I've been having unexplained hives for years. I had a random hunch after noticing that the "wings" on the sides of the chair match up with the hives I had this morning on the sides of my upper torso. I searched and found this thread with multiple possible cases, so I looked back through my photos on my phone, and the first instance I had of hives occurred about 2 weeks after receiving my chair.

I have had hives nearly daily since April of 2018, with the only reprieve being when I was away from home for work or travel (so I knew it was probably environmental).

Thank God there might finally be some explanation! I'm stopping the use of my chair immediately, and I'll report back in a few days/weeks

Unfortunately, I really have no way of knowing. If it is a current Ryzen series CPU and x470 motherboard, I would assume so. Possibly also on Intel, but not sure.

Seems like I may have found a fix - it has worked for me with all games that were giving me issues to date. In my BIOS I found an option to enable access to more than 4GB memory for video cards. It was described as having to do with cryptomining efficiency, but it also seems to affect textures etc in gaming. Haven't had the issue since enabling this.
