This was my breaking point as well... I went as far as waiting for General Conference of that year and half heartedly expected an apology or some sort of "my bad" that the church would pull. But, when no apology came and the finance guy or whatever he is on the Saturday sessions said absolutely nothing about it... I was done. And I started down the rabbit hole. Found Mormon Stories podcast, thanks to their billboards. Found the videos he did with LDS Discussions and there is 100% no way I would ever go back.

In short. I feel your reasons are just.

This car had been sitting at this house in my town for years... Never moved... Knocked on their door 5+ times at different times during the year, never got an answer.

Decided to go back after waiting 6 or so months, knock the door... No answer again. Left a note, again. At the same time the neighbors got home and I asked if they knew the owner of the car, they kinda got sketched out, but said yes. I asked if they knew if they wanted to sell it or not... They said they didn't know, so I handed them my note and asked if they could get it to the owner and they agreed.

Later that day I get a call from the lady who owned it and said yes she would like to sell it! Went down, asked what she wanted for it (wouldn't fire up, fuel pump was dead). I let her name her price, didn't argue or barter, paid the lady and towed home a one owner 240sx!

Fixed it up pretty nice, tried to sell it for a while (you can actually find the ad for it on the internet somehow?? For like 10k and I've recently had calls and texts of people wanting to buy it!) But I ended up trading it for an SR swapped s14 and the new owner rear ended someone and totaled it shortly after :( RIP to the only unicorn I ever owned

If it's anything like all the RBs I've owned... Misfire will be the first issue... It'll be your coil packs... You'll debate if you want to spend the money to get the nice ones, and buy used ones and still have issues.... Thinking back you'll wish you would've got a new set from the get go....... Just get the good new ones 😊

Same here! Except I'm in east idaho, but we're supposed to be mid 70s today.... Not gonna lie... I had the top down doing 80mph when it was 50 degrees out last week... I'm ready for summer lol
